Shaun began his career as a manufacturing apprentice and progressed into senior leadership roles over a 35+ year career. He has led teams in bidding for and delivering complex large scale infrastructure projects for high profile customers, giving him a deep understanding of the challenges faced at the executive board level of a global, matrixed organisation.

Throughout his successful career, Shaun discovered a passion for developing leaders through coaching. As an executive coach, he leverages his expansive business experience, empathy and strategic thinking to challenge his clients and help them achieve actionable insights that they can apply to their leadership roles.

Track Record

Since 2016, Shaun has been coaching leaders in both the private and public sectors. Initially, he incorporated coaching into his leadership roles, but today, as an independent executive coach, he specialises in working with existing and aspiring board-level directors.

Shaun is passionate about developing talent, preparing leaders to step into senior roles, and helping them navigate complex, changing environments.

With extensive experience in promoting gender and cultural diversity, he ensures that his coaching is inclusive and sensitive to the diverse backgrounds and challenges leaders face. His coaching helps clients thrive through significant career transitions and organisational shifts, empowering them to meet their next big challenge with confidence and clarity.

Shaun frequently allowed me to unpick a situation or challenge I was dealing with, metaphorically laying all the various pieces out and helping me put them back together in the right order. Shaun remained impartial and uninvolved through this where, upon reflection, I can see it would’ve been tempting to offer a direct solution. Finally, Shaun provided a wealth of patience throughout our coaching sessions – allowing me to think, often in silence, without pressure or expectation.

Shaun is a professionally accredited executive coach, having completed a Diploma in Transformational Coaching, which equips him to guide clients through profound personal and professional change.

In addition, Shaun holds an MBA, earned during his business career, providing him with a robust understanding of business strategy and leadership. These credentials, combined with his extensive executive experience, allow him to offer coaching that integrates personal growth with practical business insights.
